♠♠♠When can we say that this work is plagiarized?♠♠♠

what is plagiarism

Plagiarism is the illegal appropriation and thieving andpublication of another author’s language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions and the representation of themas one’s own original work. Plagiarism is considered academic untruthfulness and a   breach of journalistic ethics.

We can say that this work is plagiarized if he’s or her work is copied from a website or any source without giving any credits to the author or creator. But if they have given credits, it won’t be counted as plagiarized because they stated where they took it from. There are applications that are able to check if it is a plagiarized work. Just paste the link or the words and the application will tell you if it is plagiarized and where was it copied. If it returns no result, then the work is reliable and free from plagiarism. This procedure are only applicable to those online information such as blogs, news etc. It is not probable to check those that are not published online. So to know those articles or information offline that are plagiarized, the good and acceptable way is to check the author/s themselves about their references .From there, you can decide for yourself who did the plagiarism and how established the work is.

6 Ways to Avoid Plagiarism

Paraphrase –  You have found data that is perfect for your research paper. You will read it and put it into your own words. Be sure that you do not copy verbatim more than two words in a row from the text you have found.

Cite – Citing is one of the best ways to avoid plagiarism. You have to  follow the document formatting guidelines (i.e. APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.) used by your educational institution that delivered the research request. This usually involves the addition of the author(s) and the date of the publication or similar information. Citing is really that modest. Not citing properly can found plagiarism.

Quoting – When citing a source, use the quote exactly the way it looks. Nobody wants to be misquoted. Most associations of higher learning frown on “block quotes” or quotes of 40 words or more. A researcher should be able to efficiently paraphrase most material. This procedure takes time, but the effort pays off! Quoting must be done properly to avoid plagiarism allegations.

Citing Quotes – Citing a quote can be dissimilar than citing restated material. This practice usually includes the addition of a page number, or a paragraph number in the case of web content.

Citing Your Own Material – If certain of the material you are using for your research paper was used by you in your current class, a prior one, or anywhere else you must cite yourself. Delight the text the same as you would if someone else wrote it.
